- Technical research institute is playing leading role of research for new tech and development of own
  model connected with motorcycle, and ultimately evelopment of internationally competitive motorcycle.

- Technical research institute is grasping ceaselessly changing technical trends through persistent
  interchangeable cooperation with domestic research institutes and participates actively in new tech
  development, and thereby is taking charge of part in the improvement of domestic motorcycle industry's
  techniques. Also, it is satisfying various regulations and customer needs through various experiments,
  such as environment in various fields, durability, safety, driving, braking, sensitivity.

- At present, we are obtaining excellent results such as royalty acquisition through technology transfer
  about several kinds of machines. Recently we launched V-Twin 650 cc Naked GT650/S/R and American
  650 cc GV-650. Later we are going to spur in the 1000 cc motorcycle development and high-quality style
  scooter development.



It is worldwide trend today that technological differentiation factors diminish, and consumer's desires are diversified. Grasping changed propensity to consume is connected by the success of product development, so it would finalize the product development plan and establish styling based on plans through researches on early market circumstances and consumer opinions.

Once the development of new motorcycle is confirmed in business strategy-wise, we would complete the basic package-layout in more detail and realistic through idea sketch, rendering, tape drawing to analyze fashions and patterns of the age, merits and shortcomings of the competitors to coincide and be crystallized into the concept.

Via these steps, we manufacture 1:1 scale model, clarify the overall balance and intention of all the previous steps, and examine delicate analysis, ease of disassemble-assemble, hardness of equipments, etc. in design and manufacturing technique aspects.

Also, we analyze in detail to use as the data for the Model manufacture in sensibility ergonomics viewpoint. These processes are discussed from time to time while Model is manufactured, and as realistic and correct model as possible is manufactured and confirmed.

It is creating new models that equip economic efficiency considering performance and usage that consumers demand.

Perfect and reliable design is attained while minimizing design errors by confirming 1:1 scale model standard and executes 3 dimensional verification.

We are shortening development period by correction and repletion designing engine, car body, full length etc. using 3-dimensional design system and discovers expected problem earlier to minimize amount of loss by design mistakes.

Also, we are improving performance and quality via design calculation and design analysis test etc. in cyberspace.

At beginning step Trouble Shooting is done to maximize the performance and function. We plan to improve quality through quick feedback in design by estimating propriety of vehicles system and preparing the countermeasures.

Therefore, we confirm precondition of production by actually manufacture and operate the motorcycle to develop via drawing, and achieve design verification and effectiveness confirmation.

We are developing perfect product so that it can display optimum performance in any environments such as output performance, running performance, suspension setting, braking performance, safety, car body hardness, durability, exhaust gas regulation satisfaction in step that verifies and confirms engine, car body, full length parts in environment similar to practice covering condition.

We put in our best efforts in procuring new tech every year and developing our own engine from 1987, and we have developed large size engines of 650 cc for the first time in nation on the latest 2004, seizing the opportunity to take rank with world big makers.

Hereafter, by procuring techniques more and more and putting focus on equipment investment to develop powerful displacement engine, we are going to spur more in 1000 cc engine developments to achieve Top 5 of the world market and to sweep the domestic market.

We are going to develop systems to satisfy the motorcycle trend of next generation for performance elevation and reduction in environmental exhaust gases.

We contribute to manufacturing by seeking reform on manufacturing techniques such as suitable introduction and reassignment of molds, equipments, tools, and introduction of new manufacturing methods that are suitable in various product characteristics to have produced designed-product by the reasonable and efficient method. We also transfer some highly valuable parts manufacturing technology to cooperation companies.
